Ready to get social?
Everyone is using Facebook these days. I am not suggesting you add a bunch of your business information to your personal facebook profile if you have one, but you should have a business page on Facebook.
Not only can you put a link to your website on the page, but you can list your hours, services and service area on your Facebook fan page.
Go to http://www.facebook.com/FacebookPages to reserve your business location under its primary keywords. You can even use your primary keywords as the fan page title. You will still use your company name, address and information throughout the rest of the listing.
The more information your provide, the better. The internet loves content, and working your primary keywords in to the text will always help with your website, social profiles and posts.
If you don’t have a website yet, a lot of this marketing really won’t pay off for you. More than 25% of my appraisal business is generated off of 1st time clients that found me on the internet. You need a good web presence to get those orders. If you still do not have a website, just give it a try for a few months at http://www.appraiserwebsites.net, the longer you wait, the longer it is going to take for your website to get in the search engines and for you to begin receiving orders off the internet.
I hope you enjoyed this email, contact me if you have any problems setting up your facebook fan page.
