Appraiser Marketing System – Website Tips and Tricks

posted in Appraiser Marketing |

Hope your day is going well!

I thought I would share some additional tips on how to get the most out of your website. By applying little tricks of the trade, you will be able to rank for more keywords that your customers might be using to find you.

One of the best ways to do this in addition to listing all of the cities in the counties you cover, you can also add all the zip codes. When people look for services in their area, they might search for the city name followed by appraisal or appraiser, but my website statistics show that 85% of my searches resulting in visitors to my website search for either the city name + appraiser or appraisal or a zip code + appraisal or appraiser.

If you don’t have a large number of zip codes or cities in your service area, a good technique would be to include on your service area page keywords like

San Diego Appraiser
San Diego Appraisal
92117 Appraisal
92117 Appraiser

But if there is a large number of cities or zip codes, you can put something like this at the bottom of your service area page:

Cities and Zip Codes that I provide immediate appraisal service:

[incluce all cities and zip codes here]

to find all the citys and zip codes in your county visit:

then select your state.

At the top of the next page, you will see a dark column:

Gazetteer | Cities | Counties | Maps | ZIP Codes | Features | Land | Census

Select ZIP Codes, then your county.

Highlight the area with your mouse by holding down the left mouse button and then right click to Copy the information and paste it in to a notepad page [start – accessories – notepad]. This will take all the links out of the code and you can then cut and paste it again in to your website.

This will really help your clients find you when searching for you by city or zip code!
