This was kind of exciting and I don’t know if it will ever happen again, but maybe it will be the same for you as well!
I live in a fairly saturated market in Southern California. There are tons of appraisers competing for the same work, but at the same time it usually is not all that slow. I do spend a lot of time marketing my services, so when a new AMC pops up, I might be one of the first couple dozen to give them a try.
Well, this was the fastest response I have ever had when signing up to a new appraisal management company. I hope it is a sign of good things to come because they have pretty good fees right off the bat. After the sign up process (which took me a little longer than normal because I was taking my time and busy doing other things) when I finally got all the information in to their system and made sure my profile was set up correctly, I got a NEW FULL FEE appraisal order the very next day!
That was really cool. You should definitely sign up with them and leave a little feedback on this post if you picked up work as well. I am sure they are not going to busy everywhere, but they do have a sharp looking website – other than the ‘Insanely Fast’ appraisals in 3 days banner… I am sure everything is negotiable on more complex appraisals.
